Paul Joyce is a creative strategist, Creative Director and writer in Toronto.


Since 1993, Paul has worked for four of the country’s top marketing agencies (Cossette, Vickers & Benson, MacLaren McCann, MC Direct) and now works at one of Canada’s best digital strategy agencies: Polar Unlimited.


Paul has written and directed creative for Bell Mobility, RBC Royal Bank, General Motors, Ford, UPS, CenturyTel, CSDC Systems, Schering Plough, Biovail, Scotiabank, BMO, Reliance Home Energy and 3M, among others. He has also created DRTV for CenturyTel, RBC Royal Bank, General Motors and Scotiabank, and DR Radio for RBC Insurance, CenturyTel, Lombard Canada, The Bank of Bermuda, Ontario Lottery Corporation and Atlas Editions. He has also implemented Sales Promotions for General Motors, Esso, McDonald’s, Bell Mobility, Evian, Kronenbourg and Coca-Cola. Paul has spoken at two Canadian Marketing Association National Conventions, The Canadian Association of Independent School advancement conference, The Executive Committee (TEC Canada), and he has also authored the “Creative Thinking” column for Direct Marketing News.


Paul is part of the team that has brought Upopolis to life. Upopolis is a private online social network for kids in recurring and long-term care at childrens hospitals across Canada. It is now operating in 6 hospitals, including Sick Kids hospital in Toronto. Paul was born in Belfast, studied in South Australia, had a memorable time in Montenegro and now lives outside Toronto with his wife Natalija and two children.
