I’M A WRITER.  I HAPPEN TO WRITE MARKETING MATERIALS, GENERATE CREATIVE IDEAS, INSPIRE TEAMS AND MANAGE PEOPLE ALONG THE WAY...BUT AT THE BEGINNING OF IT ALL, AND AT THE END OF IT ALL, I’LL BE A WRITER. I ENJOY CRAFTING A FINE LINE EVERY SO OFTEN. HERE ARE  A FEW OF MY FAVES, PRESENTED NAKEDLY, WITHOUT CONTEXT OR SUPPORT. JUST FOR THE  WORDS.

“It’s the passing lane’s most stylish blur. A radiant flash of eye candy.”
• The Oldsmobile Aurora, reborn in 2001, at Maclaren McCann.
“Feel the crisp snap of the line. The whiz of an unravelling reel. You’ve got a fight on your hands. And there’s not a lawyer in sight.”
•	One of four tantalizing packages created by Kirk Fischer and I at Vickers & Benson Direct, around 1997.
“American banking. Canadian convenience.”
•	Abraham Lincoln, Canadian flag and raised ink...a hard fought creative victory for Security First National Bank while at Maclaren McCann, in 1999.
“It takes more than four wheels to get through life.”
•	Rare automotive philosophy, approved by General Motors, for Interchange, in 2000.
“Some say that adrenaline is the body’s octane. Our engineers delight in such alchemy.”
•	The Cadillac of direct mail packages, for one of my favourite clients ever: Norm. At Maclaren, in early 2002.
“Bankers’ hours are toast.”
•	Another quiet gem for SFNB, Art Direction by Greg Goodyear, while at Maclaren McCann, in 1999.
“How many bright ideas can you have in a boardroom with no windows?”
The Canadian Tourism Commission lures US executives to Canada for meetings...via Kirk Fischer and I at Vickers & Benson Direct, again around 1997.
“I Choose Both”
This one works best when you see it in context, but it’s the ultimate no compromise solution, for our friends at Reliance Home Comfort, with Steve, 2008.Front.html
