Paul Joyce is a writer, designer and faux photographer. He's the Creative Director at Polar Unlimited, and www.Readitfor.me in Burlington, Ontario. Born in Belfast and raised near dingoes in Australia, Paul traded heatstroke for windchill and settled in Canada. In an "ice-to-eskimos" move, Paul started his first venture 'The Mailcart Billboard Company' in the mailroom of Canada's largest ad agency. He went on to run the company work at senior creative posts at Maclaren McCann, Cossette, and MC Direct. Along the way, Paul has created award-winning campaigns for many clients, including RBC Royal Bank, Bell, CenturyTel, Scotiabank, GM, 3M, Blockbuster, McDonald’s, Ford, Rogers, Mt.Sinai Hospital, Reliance Home Comfort...and most luxuriously, The Bank of Bermuda. This history of hackery has been rewarded with a bulging portfolio, writer's hunch, ill-fitting suits and the privilege of twice speaking at the Canadian Marketing Association’s National Convention, presenting to T.E.C. groups and judging at both the Canadian Marketing Association and DMA in New York. An active member of his community, Paul has been a soccer coach, Big Brother of the Year, and member of The Kids’ Health Links Foundation which has created Upopolis, the very first private social network for children in hospitals. Paul lives in suburban bliss outside Toronto with his patient wife Natalija and increasingly impatient family.
