October 2014: my new book of poetry, Suburban Hiss, is now available in both paperback and Kindle. I wrote Suburban Hiss to reclaim the fragile moments — of meaning, wonder and emotion — that are often just eroded by the friction of life. I believe there is a space for art inside our days, a quiet, necessary hunger that can enrich, comfort and enlighten...even in vanilla suburbia. But it is a fight. The shiny, empty-calorie distractions of our screens and our deadlines are such a relentless seduction. This collection is my contribution to that challenge. I hope you enjoy it.
